u10.int_subintrvrsn » social http://www.subintroversion.com/v2 random u10 musings Sun, 05 Feb 2012 13:00:00 +0000 en hourly 1 urban10, the manifestation begins http://www.subintroversion.com/v2/2007/01/19/urban10-the-manifestation-begins/ http://www.subintroversion.com/v2/2007/01/19/urban10-the-manifestation-begins/#comments Sat, 20 Jan 2007 03:54:20 +0000 {ns} http://www.subintroversion.com/v1/2007/01/19/urban10-the-manifestation-begins/ i used to have a clear idea of what urban10 was to become. that, of course, was a long time ago before i found myself enveloped at a confluence of ideas, desires and goals. however, as school progressed that vision began falling by the wayside due to severe time constraints and simply focusing on getting the hell out of school, and of course texas. but since i have been thinking more about the short-term, in some cases even long-term, future i have been reflecting more on what is to become of urban10 and this vision. if i am slightly vague here it’s for good reason… i have essentially erased my plan for urban10 in preparation for a new approach that combines my latest visions, knowledge and aspirations in order to form a sort of pedagogical manifestation.

so what is urban10? no, it’s not really specifically a design-related entity. it’s not simply a design ‘company’. it’s more than that. it will play a much larger role at various levels. at this point i don’t really know. it doesn’t exist nor does it have a definite path or direction. nevertheless, this manifestation will soon be taking shape over the next few months as i begin focusing, performing more extensive research, and really defining what urban10 will hopefully evolve into.
