these tracks originated as part of my february mix, which obviously never came to be due to other obligations and not enough time in a day. they found their way to my march mix, which is also late after spending most of last month in minneapolis for work, swamped as usual. nevertheless, i was able to block out enough hours the past few days to get this mix put together, which is considerably darker than my past few mixes but reflects, along with the title, my state of mind as we suddenly fell into the new year.
