yep, still alive

i just noticed when going to my blog site that i still had the redirect to urban10.com from the root of subintroversion.com that i setup during my server migration about a month ago. oops! fixed now.

but yeah, i’m still alive and kicking but have been pretty busy lately with everything that is going on. it started towards the end of march when i started using twitter on a more regular basis. i looked at it during last summer when there was a lot of post-sxsw hype surrounding it’s launch a year ago, but never really started using it. however, now that i’ve been tweeting (yes, your twitter posts are called “tweets”) for a little over a month i can see that it has amazing potential and absolutely love the networking aspect of it. the funny thing i’ve noticed is that most of the people (well, of those i’m following in my industry) are in san francisco with a handful here in seattle. that’s because west coast people are awesome! twitter is also the primary reason why i have not blogged in about a month… twitter is a microblogging application where you “blog” in 140 character increments at any time. so the conglomeration of all of my tweets are essentially (and abstractly) a series of longer, yet somewhat disconnected, blog posts. anyway, if you decide to join be sure to follow me!

i’ve also been traveling a lot, starting with orlando on april 1st to attend the national hurricane conference with lee (hamweather) and to meet up with some clients down there. then i flew back to atlanta with lee to hang out with friends for a few days before heading back to seattle april 7th. was in seattle for most of that week until i flew out to san francisco on april 12th (finall visited san francisco!). i met up with myra there and part of the reason for the trip was to talk business surrounding urban10 and where to go next to get this thing off the ground. we’re entering into a big marketing push to get our name out there in hopes of having things take off soon. more details about the san francisco will be written about at some point over the next week or so.
