so apparently google has been pissing off conservatives across the country because of what holidays it chooses to change its logo for and which ones it doesn’t. more recently google displayed a logo last week to honor the 50th anniversary of the sputnik launch in which “the second “g” in Google was replaced with a drawing of the Soviet satellite.” conservative critics (who have pretty much lost touch with reality anyway) claim that google is not patriotic enough because among all the international holidays they change their logo for, they never do for our own veterans day or memorial day. one critic even suggested that “When they ignore Veterans Day and Memorial Day, I think they’re telling us something about the way they view America.” wtf!? are you ignorant? (no need to answer that, we all know the real answer.)
