if you’ve paid any attention to the news the past day or so you would have seen the big headlines stating that osama bin laden is planning to address americans in a “new” video for the upcoming 6-year anniversary of 9/11. what a crock of shit…seriously. just look at when the US “intelligence” agencies and the media reported a high risk of an american terrorist attack and see what was going on at that time. they always mysteriously seem to fall during times where the president’s/administration’s actions are being questioned, an uproar against the iraqi war or anything else that threatens the credibility of the bush administration. these all all scare tactics used to simply distract the american people from the real problems… to try to regain support for the iraqi war and the recent troop surge.
the last footage that was deemed to be “new” by the government and media was in fact the same footage that had been aired two times previously in 2001 and 2003. apparently the US government was also caught releasing staged al-queda videos. so, why should we honestly believe this one to be any different?
the first article i linked refers to the “new” footage released last month and sums up such instances quite well:

Is all this a coincidence, or does such chicanery and crass manipulation of the electorate and the political process demand an immediate Congressional investigation as to why the U.S. government and its lapdog media fronts are working with the terrorists to artificially boost their profile while scaring the holy crap out of the American people at the most politically opportune moments?
