do you ever feel like things are continuously working against you? as if suddenly the universe seems to turn against you? i was planning on having my living situation in seattle settled, my flight booked and start preparing my small amount of stuff for shipping by the end of this week. however, it has been difficult getting in contact with the leasing office on multiple occasions in order to get the leasing paperwork going. i finally received it today… only a couple of days late, and they are sending photos of the available places this afternoon (supposedly). not only that, but i still have not received my mail from texas and have not heard what the status is on that, which is preventing me from getting my taxes done. and today, the weather is perfect (except for the high winds) for a long afternoon mountain bike ride… temps in the upper 60s and lower 70s, clear skies. so i get ready this afternoon, load up and head to the trails nearby only to be welcomed by a locked gate at the entrance to the parking lot. damn! of course it rained yesterday morning, poured somewhat even, which causes the trail to close in order to prevent the trail from getting torn up. i have been looking forward to this warm weather for a while now… expecting to have a nice long bike ride only to be let down by the bloody rain yesterday! strange… when i want it to rain it usually never does, yet when i don’t want it to as in this instance, it rains even more.
hopefully i can get my lease stuff worked out in seattle by tomorrow, and then i can finally book my airline ticket to make it set in stone… the date when i move to seattle
