we drove up into the olympic mountains yesterday (xmas eve) to the point where we actually began to see quite a bit of snow since there was no snow in the lower elevations.
if it won’t snow where you’re at, then just go to where the snow is! anyway, jen and i decided to have a quick snowball fight as bruce snaps the action. unfortunately he missed the part with us rolling around in the snow on the ground after i pull jen to the ground.
she should have seen that one coming!

can i come work for your corporation? lol
i envy your ‘free bird’ capabilities… most people have to have a ‘normal’ 8-5 job in order to keep up with their lifestyles… house, cars, kids, bills, etc… being in your situation allows you to have such randomness, but its not for everyone… most people have too much going on around them to truly do the things that drive them to true happiness…
let me know when you have an opening available
yeah, i’ll definitely let you know!
i agree that a lot of people have more concrete responsibilities that force them into stable lifestyles. however, i would also argue that more so than not, it’s the fact that people are essentially afraid to wonder off into the unknown. they avoid stepping outside of their comfort zones and extremely stable lifestyles. most people can’t handle randomness or not really knowing what will happen a week, month or year from today. as a result, unfortunately, people oftentimes don’t experience all that life has to offer… unable to escape the social burdens and physical restraints either they have developed or that society has placed on them. one just have to get out there and do it… break away from those restraints every now and then in order to enjoy life and experience that which exists in the unknown. the unknown is not all that bad, really!
