tomorrow at this time i will be on the road eastbound, first to new orleans for a little bourbon street partying and then off to atlanta the following day with lee and todd. this entire week of being in la grange has been spent working for the most part trying to make as much money as i can to assist in the cost of moving. today has been my packing day…putting it off as long as i can since i’m am insanely sick of doing it. i went through all of my stuff i have left behind in la grange to see what i wanted to keep, sell or just throw out, which was the case for most of my crap. it definitely was not the most exciting thing to do but felt good to finally get it done afterward.
i was able to spend some time with family before i took off… mom and jerry throughout the week, dad on sunday, and then grandparents on monday evening. i’ll miss them all but it will feel good to finally move on to the next stage in my life. early in the morning, we have to drive to austin to pick up the rental car at the airport and then head back to la grange to load up the car. i definitely want to be on the road no later than 1100a so that i can be in new orleans around 700p. i’m looking forward to the drive, so it shouldn’t be too bad
