living in the pits of hell

omg i am so fucking sick of the heat here… if you couldn’t tell it’s beginning to make me really bitter (along with everything else). the temperatures have climbed at or above 100 degrees every bloody day for at least the last month, and it has not rained a decent amount (half an inch or more) since late may/early june or maybe even earlier than that! walking back from the gym just now in the heat of the afternoon (it’s currently 102 degrees here in austin) was disgusting. the entire time i was thinking why are people living here in the pits of hell? it’s hot and dry and everything living is dead or on the brink of dying. i am sick of seeing the sun every single hot-ass day and hope for a miracle… a single day of cloudy, rainy weather. is that so difficult to aquire?

i have reached my limit. i am sick of living here, i cannot stand texas any longer. the weather sucks and is monotonous. it takes a miracle just to get some rain, and then another miracle for it to actually be something more than a brief shower or sprinkles. normal weather is beyond our understanding as it’s either months of drought, months of heat (wait that’s most of the year), or we make up for rainfall deficits within a week only to cause major flooding. the complete opposite extremes, except for temperatures. we get the hot extremes but definitely never the cold one. hell, we don’t even have season anymore nor does it even get remotely cold here as it used to. we are lucky to even see highs lower than 50 degrees during the winter months (or rather a single month from mid-January to mid-February).

so, when do i move again?
