after clearing my head after wednesday and with the more promising news on this other job, i am back in the swing of things. i think i’m not nearly as upset over not getting that first job the more i think about it becuase i do have a lack of expereince and knew all along it would be a stretch to actually get the job. after making it to the third stage in the application process and actually getting an interview, i was a little more optimistic, but i was still highly skeptical. this prepared my mentally for the news.
so i am flying back out to nyc this coming wednesday to meet with the owner of DI and the rest of the team in manhattan and hopefully the second time’s the charm in this case! and in the meantime, i have picked up another task to work on in my not-so-free time… as of today i have begun to teach myself the basics of japanese. eventually i will take a course in nyc when i get settled up there, but i have really been wanting to learn it so figured i may as well start on my own… i’m self taught in many other areas so what the hell!
ugh… it’s almost august which means my big move is quickly getting closer…and still no definitely job yet.
