woohoo… i got an interview! remember that design firm i sent my stuff to the other week and had to do that interactive/development test? so i emailed them yesterday morning to follow up on correspondance regarding my application process and about an hour afterward i receive a response. the recruiter said my test results were good and asked when i would be able to come up to their new york office for an interview. yea, an interview finally! i was totally shocked (refer to my ‘wishful thinking’ entry). looks like i will be making a trip up to new york rather than the seattle trip i was already planning. i’m looking to go the week of july 17th and will probably stay up there 3-4 days to live it up some before having to return to austin
i hope i get the job now! time to really sell myself…

Hi- I have a couple of domains registered with register.com and I am dying to transfer them to another service. I haven’t been able to figure out how to do it (and register.com will not help me figure it out!). Could you tell me how I can transfer them?
Thank you so much!!
Kathy
you will need to register with another domain/registrar company (i switched to godaddy.com since they are considerably cheaper than register.com) and apply for a transfer of your domain. make sure that your domain is not locked on register.com else your attept to transfer will be rejected.
