i have made it back to austin in one piece after a wild weekend of partying in atlanta, so the word for today has been ‘recovery’.
austin is definitely not as exciting, nor does it have the good clubs we experienced in atlanta. now i have to complete my flash ‘test’ for that job position this evening and tonight and it will most likely be an all-nighter to get it finished (you think i was actually going to work on it any while there? hell, i don’t think we even had much downtime at all!). anyway, i need to get back to work…

don’t fret. its human nature to second-guess what you’ve done, especially when it comes to something major like a job interview. and most places take time to look over and review their interviewees, rather than jumping into hiring immediately- so i’d expect to wait a week or two, possibly longer. good companies take their time- don’t rush into hire any ‘joe schmoe’.
you’re one of the most dedicated, strong, self-taught, determined, clear headed, critical thinking, creative individuals i know- i’m sure they will see that, whether it was in your work presented or via the interview.
don’t get yourself down… just imagine yourself moving forward in NYC, regardless of whether or not its with the company you currently desire. there will always be other, possibly greater, opportunities…
ok, enough with my ‘hallmark card’ stuff… i’ll be wishing you luck… and keeping my fingers crossed!
