after some lengthy contemplation and thinking over the last few days, i have decided to stay in austin a few more months in order to think more seriously about my next direction after graduation. i still know that i will end up in either seattle or new york city, leaning more towards seattle now since i know that i will eventually end up back in new york no doubt. so in about an hour or so i am going to meet up and take a look at an apartment to sublease for the next three months until august. luckily it’s only about a block away from where i am currently living so moving will not be that much of a hassle. i figured that since my lease ends at my current place FIVE days after graduation, that is too soon to worry about a larger move across the country, not to mention i am still uncertain what i want to do job-wise. i have enough freelance work to support myself through the summer, so that will allow me to relax some for once before starting a ‘real’ job.
the only thing i dread about staying here is the insanely hot and dry summer that i am sure is in store for us this year
