in a couple weeks SXSW kicks off here in austin and, as always, is definitely going to be an awesome event. my spring break plans are still up in the air and uncertain about the road trip to oregon. if that trip falls through, then i will definitely be making an appearance to the SXSW interactive events as there are some inspiring designers from the industry scheduled to make an appearance. one discussion that looks highly interesting is “Traditional Design and New Technology” with an appeal to both designers and developers alike. Seems as if both those industries are tying ever so closely together (just as architecture and landscape architecture) with the influx of RIAs and highly dynamic and interactive web environments.
just check the list of speakers this year… not to mention the opening party hosted by frog design, an excellent digital showcase by AMODA and a final closing party hosted by webhost Media Temple.
nice!

That seems so cool. I checked all those links out and Frog Design seems awesome. I’ve never heard of them but I like what I see. I’m sure you enjoyed yourself very much at the amoda digital showcase — looks like your type of music and/or style. Hope you can rub shoulders with some people who can give you some guidance…
