new years plans

well NYE plans are set and it should be a really awesome time. i’ll be hitting up the huge party at avalon night club which starts at 9pm new years eve and goes well into the morning… through 9am! we’ll see just how long we can actually make it but we’ll definitely have to stay though the main djs mixes. awesome dj lineup, open bar, toast at midnight, and continental breakfast… couldn’t go wrong. we’ll also be at our hotel in midtown off lexington and 55th so not too far to walk if we decide to pass through times square (if passing through is even possible). we were going to do the whole times square thing, but the fact that hundreds of thousands of people are crammed into a small area… unable to move… no drinking (well, as long as they don’t find out)… no restrooms… and not with the potential for rain that night… didn’t sound as appealing as attending one of the many parties going on. i’ll definitely get to times square for new years one year as there will be many opportunities once i move back on a more permanent basis (at least until i move to france or canada ).
