the web evolves

now that Flash has become so widespread across the internet it would only seem that within a reasonable amount of time javascript, which at one point ruled the interactive web, would rebound with new innovative opportunities. within the last several months AJAX has made a very strong presence across the web… utilizing javascript and the Document Object Model to create quick, clean and highly interactive applications on the web. as Flash gets more and more complex, AJAX currently seems to be taking over the role that earlier versions of Flash held with basic or moderately complex web applications. i’ve been working with AJAX somewhat in order to be able to begin implementing it into some of my web solutions and then letting Flash be the answer to the more complex interactive apps. AJAX will definitely be flooding web pages in the coming couple years as the technology becomes more common knowledge to developers and as Google continues pushing the technology (they currently use it on Google Maps and Google Suggest).
