grrrr….

so you ever have those days where everyone just really pisses you off no matter what they do? every little thing… even if two people do something that completely contradicts the other… is damn annoying. at least this city is large enough that i can avoid the most annoying of them all. those who cluelessly stroll along with no desire to move quickly, no direction. this species has a very specific appearance to them though with their colorfully decorated attire and frontal pouch consisting of anything and everything that may have NY inscribed on it anywhere they collect along the way as if preparing for a lengthy fast or intense period of hibernation. they carry and toss around folded papers of colors, symbols and lines while continuously making overwhelming glances at it in a state of disarray.

ugh… the dreaded ny tourist.

is it written in every travel guide in hour a tourist should dress and act while visiting their unexplored lands? aside from their distinctive characteristics, they are just way out there somewhere. i mean, is it really necessary to have your entire family consisting of 5 kids walk side-by-side down the bloody sidewalk so that absolutely no on e can get around you? then, walk slow as hell on top of that? i don’t feel that everyone should be in a hurry everywhere they go as i am, but this is just insane. then, they stand right at the entrances to subway stations and buildings that there’s no way in hell you can get around them with the exiting traffic departing. wft!? get the hell out of te way, damn!

many nyorkers have that bad habit of blocking entrances as well, though not quite as severe. i just don’t get it… maybe i’m just overly observant of such occurrances which the everyday person would not be and thus are not bothered or frustrated by it? who knows. i just want to know what happens to result in such shitty levels of perception.

at least i’m safe here well south of times square and well north of battery park… safe from absolute cluelessness.
